Tragic Conflict

A chaotic, deadly border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand has been worsening this year. As of December 16th, the Cambodian government estimates that over 425,000 people have been displaced.

At least 40 people have been killed. Many displaced people, including children and missionaries, lost their homes and everything they owned. They fled bombings with only the clothes on their backs.

Our Response

Native missionaries in Cambodia are responding, and we’re communicating with missionaries in Thailand as well.

Sokhon, one of our Cambodian missionaries, shares, “Your support, whether through prayer, a donation, or spreading the word, can bring light into this dark moment. A small act of kindness can mean warmth, food, or safety for a family that has lost everything.”

How you can pray

Please pray for:

Victims and survivors in both countries, that God will provide healing and meet needs

Missionaries in both countries, that God will protect, provide for, and guide them

Peace in the region, as lasting peace can only come from God

Provide clean water

Everyone needs clean water to live. Give a family of 4 the clean water they need, either as bottled water or through water filters.
